Our Credentials

RC Consultants International, located in New York and founded in 2004, is led by Jewel Ray Chaudhuri, Ph.D.

Jewel is an organizational development and training professional. She has twenty years of experience in the corporate training and development field and was a senior consultant with New York Life Insurance Company prior to founding her own firm.

As a consultant, she has partnered with clients worldwide to design or deliver training or organization development solutions that are innovative and fit the client’s needs. While at New York Life, Jewel was the program manager for a leadership program for mid-level managers. She managed the program’s transfer and translation into Spanish for New York Life’s Mexican subsidiary, Segurros-Monterrey. She has designed successful leadership and supervisory development programs. Jewel has designed corporate initiatives such as a program to introduce SAP to the Human Resources Department and a program on flexible work arrangements. She has also coached and trained individuals in business writing, presentation skills, time management and other skills-based training.

Holding a Ph.D. in Human and Organization Systems from the Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara, California, Jewel also earned her a master’s degree from Fielding in Human and Organization development and a master’s degree in Human Resources management and Development from the Milano Graduate School of the New School. Jewel’s dissertation on executive women and power in Fortune 500 companies gives her a unique perspective when coaching and working with female executives.

Her current research interests include on-line and face to face community development, cultural change, women and men’s experiences of power, transformative learning and exploring personal awareness and power through dance, movement, and performance. Jewel’s article, Engaging in conversations: A new tool for team “identity empowerment” appeared in the journal, Empowerment in Organizations (1998, 6, (1). Currently, she is co-authoring an article on community building with Toni Williams-Sanchez, Ph.D., CDE.
